BOSTON / Press Release / March 27, 2023
Wabbi, the leading provider of Application Security Orchestration & Correlation, announced today the launch of their next-generation vulnerability management solution. With this new offering, Wabbi is now the only tool that takes care of the full application security cycle, from triggering the first scan to managing, orchestrating, correlating, and analyzing the results of it.
“We are excited to announce an advanced solution for our users to help them with their vulnerability management” said Kent Welch, CTO of Wabbi, “This extension of our core vulnerability management functionality will further advance our mission to simplify the deployment of Application Security as part of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with all AppSec workflows centrally managed in one location so that vulnerabilities can be managed as part of their existing backlog.”
The 23.1 release comes with a range of powerful new features designed to help users standardize and streamline their software security testing methodology, with workflows centrally managed in one location. It also provides summarized analytics of all the tests that can be used to ensure the minimum threshold around security vulnerabilities has been met before allowing code to be committed to specified branches/environments to CI/CD pipelines.
“We are very proud of our latest release,” said Welch. “As part of Wabbi’s Continuous Security platform, this advanced functionality will allow developers to improve velocity and agility while reducing the security risks of their software projects. This makes it easier than ever to ensure that applications are kept secure throughout their entire lifecycle no matter what changes occur to security policies or the application.”
Wabbi’s next-gen vulnerability management solution provides a comprehensive set of features that make it easy for Development and Security teams to manage vulnerabilities detected in their applications. Key features include, scheduled scans, asset vulnerability tracking, custom risk assessment, and workflow automation. The solution also provides summarized analytics of all the tests that can be used to ensure the minimum threshold around security vulnerabilities has been met before allowing code to be committed to specified branches/environments to CI/CD pipelines. This helps eliminate manual process steps while ensuring that only secure code is promoted into production environments.
This release comes on the heels of Wabbi’s recognition as the Best DevSecOps Solution and Cybersecurity Startup as part of this year’s Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. Recently, Wabbi has also been named a Application Security Orchestration & Correlation (ASOC) sample vendor in Gartner’s Application Security Hype Cycle, and as an Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) sample vendor in their recent research, “How to Select DevSecOps Tools for Secure Software Delivery.”
“Our goal is always to provide our users with a platform that enables them to work faster but also more securely,” said Welch “and this new solution does just that.”

About Wabbi
A 2021 RSA Innovation Sandbox Finalist, Wabbi’s Continuous Security platform orchestrates and correlates all components of an application security program to bridge the gap between security and development. By analyzing existing product design architecture and security policies, Wabbi enables context-based management of application security enabling its end-to-end integration into the complete software development lifecycle, and ongoing dynamic management of it in real-time in responses to changes both in security requirements and at the application layer. This enables transparency in and prioritization of the security activities and remediation, with closed loop-integrations to reduce noise in existing security and development workflows.
