the people behind the platform

meet the team

Wabbi is built by a team with a variety of backgrounds, experiences, interests, passions, and perspectives who all share one goal:  to change how security is deployed in development.

Brittany Greenfield

Founder & CEO

A Duke undergrad and MIT Sloan MBA, Brittany has spent her career identifying new market opportunities, and building and executing the strategies to bring them to life at companies including OpenAir, NetSuite, Kronos, Cisco, and Cybereason.

Outside of Wabbi, Brittany is active in her community serving on the MassTLC Board of Directors, Vilna Shul Board of Directors, and Chair of the Duke Young Alumni Development Committee and BBS Chair of the Boston Ballet Young Partners. And when not at her computer, you can find her speeding down a ski piste, yelling at a golf ball, or studying for her Level 1 Sommelier exam

Kent Welch

VP of Engineering

Since studying CompSci at WPI, Kent has built the products and teams that have led networking, IAM, and payments. For almost two decades, Kent helped Courion grow from a small startup to over 200 people, and most recently, founded the engineering team that designed, developed and delivered ePay, which became the flagship e-payment offering for FastPay in their acquisition of AnchorOps.

Kent still finds time to run 40 miles a week in preparation for the 2 half-marathons he runs competitively each year, and when not enjoying the Vineyard with his family, he can be found at Gillette Stadium cheering on the Pats

Brian Ball

VP of Sales

With more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software sales management and channel development, Brian is responsible for accelerating growth in existing and new markets. Having received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University, Brian developed a passion for connecting customers and solutions, going on to hold sales management positions at start-ups, emerging growth technology companies, and a value-added reseller, including Accellion, Wombat Security (acquired by Proofpoint), and Ansys. When not helping organizations deliver more secure software to market faster, Brian enjoys his time on his farm outside of Pittsburgh, PA.
